2 flights of stairs

I used to train my elder daughter on how to do skating near our building. One day while skating she fell down and hurt her leg. She was 6 years old then. She could not walk and I need to pick her up to the first floor. There were two flights of staircase with approximately 15 stairs on each flight. I picked her up and picked my courage too. Completed that tiring journey of two flights of staircase, huffing and sweating. I could not speak for ten minutes, drank two glasses of water. I can hear my heartbeat during these ten minutes.

This was the defining moment for me. I realized that I could not be swift and agile enough to protect me and my family in these kind of situations. My shear weight will change the outcome against us in such scenarios.

I realized that there are many and most things, which can be bought or outsourced, but there are few but critical things that one need to perform himself. These things cannot be outsourced or delegated; one has to do it himself or herself.

A day came when I used to lift my daughter and climb the staircases to reach the top floor of 5-floor building. Moreover, yes I get excited upon the thought of climbing the staircase because I do not walk, I do not run but I jump on flights to reach the destination. I am not doing anything physically demanding instead that I am just playing.
