My Secret Sauce

3

People often ask me how I did complete personal disruption and brought this change in my fitness levels. Before I start telling about the SECRET SAUCE I would like to tell what I achieved.

• 111 to 79kgs- weight
• 42 to 32 inches – Waist
• 10 years – reduction in age
• 7 years – sustained this transformation
• High throughout the day Energy
• High body Strength

This didn’t come the easy way and a disciplined approach was required.

In this blog I am covering the diet (My Secret Sauce)that I followed for first 12 months in which I shed weight( 32kgs) and inches (10 inches):

1. First thing in the morning (around 6 am): 2 lemon and 1.5 table spoon of honey in 1 ltr of warm water.
2. Then 1 hour of cardio and strength or running
3. After that 1 cup of normal Tea with 1 biscuit (around 7.30 am)
4. Breakfast(around 8.30 am) : 1 bowl of papaya and 1 bowl of sprouts
5. Mid meal (around 11.30 am) : 1 handful of nuts/chana and green tea
6. Lunch(around 1.30 pm) : 1 roti with 1 big bowl of dal/sabzi and 1 bowl of curd
7. Evening snacks (around 5 pm) : 1 handful of nuts/chana and green tea
8. Dinner (around 8 pm) : Green salad followed by 1 roti with 1 big bowl of dal/sabzi

So this is exactly what I followed day after day, week after week and month after month. It was not at all pain it was all joy. I enjoyed that diet too and moreover I enjoyed the results that I was getting.

Some other Dos and Don’ts that I follow:
1. Sabzi was generally bottle gourd
2. Tea was very low/no sugar
3. Avoided dairy products except curd in lunch
4. No sweets at all
5. I avoided following fruits : Mango, Chikoo and Grapes
6. No(Zero) alcohol even if I was attending parties, dinner meetings or travelling.
7. I avoided all fried foods with zero tolerance
8. No rice and No potatoes for me (Though I like both of them very much)
9. Surrounded myself with Channas/Healthy biscuits/Fruits which I can have a bit generously whenever there is hunger pangs. Though I didn’t eat them too much but surrounded by options kept a check on my cravings.

It’s not like that the above food items which I avoided don’t have good nutrition in them but I realized by experimenting that avoiding them can help me achieve my fitness goals.

My suggestion to all who want to go to certain level of fitness is that know what suits you and what doesn’t and then make your own diet regime. The above diet can be a starting point but then everyone need to observe and experiment a bit but it’s not difficult to find your own way.
