Mushrooming of QSRs and Cafes has really changed the way people used to socialize and also the way people used to business discussion.
Bur, recently I also observed an area which needs immediate action from all of us. We need to curb the wastage of ‘Sugar sachets’, ‘Sauce packets’ etc. These QSRs and Cafés generously provide sugar and sauce in the sachets along with beverages and food. Unfortunately the quantity in these sachets are little over generous and often tend to get wasted. For ex. 3 people sitting together don’t even bother to share them and each one uses partial sachets and throws rest of the quantity. Even worse people put cups or food on the unused sachets making them unusable for anyone. The Café employees simply pick these partially used or unusable unopened sachets and throw them in the bin wasting Tonnes of sugar and sauce every day.
Transform: let’s share the sachets and use them fully while sitting in these cafes and also carefully return the unused and unopened sachets to the café emplyees.
